Rob and Lauren Lim are photographers that love to travel as well. I love this image. The texture and lighting , and the pops of color capture my attention.

Tim Twinem of Velare
Remembering our lives and the important events in our lives is what photography is all about. A single photo can share a thousand words and have a different meaning and relation to whomever views it , even the different subjects in the photo. A remember when moment or reminder of the past takes place when we look at photos. Althought those things can be captured by a lens , there is also video imaging that can capture some of those intimate things or actions we didnt quite get to freeze with our camera lens. And this is what tim does here: http://www.velare.tv/michael-allyson-ireland
Jonas Peterson
Wedding photographer Jonas Peterson has some striking images that are not the traditional run of the mill wedding shots. Check him out here: http://jonaspeterson.com
Henri Cartier-Bresson
In class we have seen several of the images by Henri Cartier-Bresson and now that the holidays are upon us , I finally got a chance to investigate further. I can see why he is well know. The compositions are amazing and interesting view of his subjects and repetition in pattern is also captivating. Another aspect I like is that many of the photos he took were more candid and photojournalistic . I like the idea of capturing life while it happens. Emmet Gowin
The other photographer's work on display at the St. Louis Art Museum is Emmet Gowin. OHH MYY! I LOVE his work. Just goes to show that you dont have to search far for beauty. Most of the portraits are of his wife. You can see the progression and the physical change in the subject if you pay attention to the dates and the life shifts in his work . Remarkable. I really enjoyed having the opportunity to view Gowin's work. http://www.slam.org/exhibitions/weightofthings.php
